Sorry, the clip art is no longer available. After almost 30 years, Educator Clips has been discontinued. The continuous theft of intellectual property by individuals, companies, and AI make it no longer worth the effort to maintain the site.

A BIG THANK YOU to the hundreds of thousands of educators who used the art over the years, both here and through Discovery’s website!

The Educator Clips Story
Originally inspired by my late educator wife's need for artwork for her class newsletters and handouts, my portfolio of education clip art images grew and evolved over several years. So I eventually created a website for it. That's where Discovery (Channel) Education noticed it, licensed it, and turned it into the Discovery Education Clip Art Gallery. Teachers were able to get free clip art there for nearly twenty years.

A lot of the several hundred original images were created and copyrighted way back in the 1990s when the World Wide Web was still very young. Back then, computers and modems were painfully slow and storage capacity (think 250MB hard drives) and applications were quite limited. To make the art available to as many users as possible, the images were offered as small, low-resolution GIF and JPG files.

Discovery stopped licensing my art several years ago. That's when the art was updated to more-colorful, higher-resolution images and EducatorClips.com was created.
